According to property registration documents, 10 apartments have been purchased in Oberoi Realty’s project, Oberoi Eternia. The project offers ready-to-move-in 3 BHK and 4 BHK apartments, with the 10 units covering a total of 10,216 sq ft and including 20 car parking spaces.
Eight of the apartments have a carpet area of 1,049 sq ft each, while two units span 912 sq ft each. A stamp duty of ₹1.50 crore and registration fees of ₹3 lakh were paid for these apartments, all registered on October 9, 2024. Mulund West, where Oberoi Eternia is located, offers a mix of modern infrastructure and greenery, making it a sought-after location for homebuyers and professionals, according to Square Yards.
Six of these apartments, valued at ₹14.77 crore, were purchased by Abhishek Bachchan, while Amitabh Bachchan acquired the remaining four. A response from Oberoi Realty and Amitabh Bachchan’s representatives is awaited and will be updated accordingly.
The Bachchan family’s real estate investments are substantial, with residential properties making up 62% of their portfolio. Between 2020 and 2024, the family invested over ₹200 crore in real estate, including properties in key areas like Oshiwara and Magathane (Borivali East). Their 2024 investments alone exceed ₹100 crore, with their portfolio now crossing the ₹200 crore mark. According to Square Yards, the Bachchans’ investments include a mix of residential and commercial properties, with a focus on long-term growth and rental income potential.
